I personally need 10-12 hours of sleep, so I don't think you're alone. I stay up until 2 or 3AM, but at the latest, I've stayed up until 7AM. And when I don't get at least 10 hours of sleep, I'm usually very lethargic throughout the day unless I only get 5 hours of sleep or less. Kind of confusing, I know, haha. It confuses even me.
