Hi,

My name is Jen and I have extremely bad panic attacks. Mine wake me up while sleeping. i am 38 years old i have 2 children and i do dread night time, im on effexor xr 300mg a day. things have been really great for the last few years on these meds, but things are changing and i can not pin point the problem. i have had attcks since i was small. i do feel some what better when i talk about it for that time being. just my thoughts.

Recently my lexapro pooped out on me. It just stopped working. I was fine on it for about 4 years and then the panic attacks started coming back just awful. I already can't travel, but if I can't even go to a store without panicking then I just feel so depressed. I was in bed most of the day and night sleeping. Who wants to be awake for panic! UGH but you just have to fight through it.

Perhaps its time to have a visist with your doc? I am now getting switched to Busbar. I'm praying it will work! 2nd day on it.

I have 1 daughter who is 20 months; I dread simply having to go anywhere. I hate panic attacks, but I'd love to be able to take her to disney world someday. ugh

i do get what you are talking about
mind just doesnt shut off..too bad we didnt hv a switch to shut it off
i too feel better for a time when i am able to share what is going on with me to certain friends and the ppl here i hv come to know
i agree i think you might need to talk with your doc n see if there is another med that you can go on
the ad s can loose some effectiveness imho over the years..i tk trazadone and ativan but thats me
