Hi everyone, I was happy to find this site.
I'm just champing at the bit here. In three days, I need to have my apartment completely cleaned out. Less than, really. I've been dealing with some bad agoraphobia issues, and just the thought of other people seeing me carrying out my things in public (from the apartment to moving vans, my truck, the dumpster) is giving me preemptive panic attacks. I feel like I'm the only one who does this; but I can't be, can I?
I'm not a hoarder, per se, but it's gotten out of control. I've spent the last two years taking care of my late uncle, my hospitalized grandmother, and now my father. So, I've also spent the last two years avoiding any sort of "de-cluttering" -- you can take that both literally and figuratively. But it's all the worse when I compound it with this total fear of anyone seeing all the junk I have to donate to Good Will/toss/whatever.
I just don't know. Does this make since to anyone else?
