Hi everyone,

I've been reading quite a few of the posts on here, and finding them quite informative! I've been a long time sufferer of GAD and Panic Disorder.

Medications I've had:

Effexor

Zoloft

Wellbutrin

Celexa

Ativan

Klonopin

Seroquel (briefly, to calm the bad reaction I had to Wellbutrin)

Ritalin

Now I've been prescribed 30mg Cymbalta with .5 Klonopin to help ease me on to it, as I'm prone to freaking out a bit when starting new meds.

I'm just wondering if anyone might be able to tell me what to expect?

Hello and welcome to HealingWell. Just wondering why the Ritalin ?

As you probably know, from your list which looks similiar to mine, medications react different for everyone. I think my list is longer as I probably am older then you and I have been dealing with anxiety and depression for 26 years or so.

I used Cymbalta and did OK on it but it did not help as much as I hoped and so I was weaned off it and went for 1 year without any AD med. I have been on Effexor for 2 weeks now and having some side effects but will give it a fair chance.

Cymbalta side effects are listed as pretty much the same as the other SNRIs.

Hopefully others members may have some info to share with you.

Hoping to get to know you better.
