Caffeine and chocolate and now anxiety?

okay i know better than to eat right and not drink caffiene but last night i had a starbucks frappachino. felt fine last night but got into it with my son's dad. and lots of chocolate last night - and today - i'm pmsing too - my heartrate just sitting around is 90-95 - i know in normal range but crap - i don't like it. is this anxiety? i mean i guess it is and i know being concerned about it makes it worse but i've taken my buspar and it's not doing anything. i only take 5 mg twice a day - maybe i should take more.

Dear Hazel,

I fear you are to fixated on your BP and your pulse and that drives your pulse up ~ as you have said it is still in the normal range.

Please do try to find some peace in you life. Try meditation, listening to music, going for a walk etc.

thank you kitt. :) i will. keeping busy is best i think. i'm afraid to go places sometimes but it doesn't keep from working, etc.

i know a few ppl that are so ocd about their bps and heart rates.....
reading meditating are good ways to calm down..

thanks lyn - i'm interested in knowing what you and kitt's anxiety symptoms are - isn't being fixated on those things normal for anxiety? i mean i thought that is what anxiety was - a big part of it. your heart starts beating a little fast and then going into panic. i am not like this all day at work, etc. but today it has seemed high for no reason. i don't get it.

Anxiety symptoms, however, are different for each person. I do not worry about my BP and heartrate.

I have more of a problem with anticipatory anxiety.

thanks kitt - well i do also take thyroid meds and have been taking an increased (small) the past 2 months. but now that i think about it - i have had these symptoms without taking my thyroid medicine. and i have had a low heart rate the past two months on them. ugh i am always thinking my thyroid has something to do with it because i know it regulates your heart rate. but my doctor says she takes 3 times the amount i do and it never affects hers. who knows.
