My family and I are going on vacation to a lake resort and it got me thinking about
symbolically "sinking" some of my issues there and leaving them behind. Sounds crazy, but maybe the simple act of visualizing this will help shed some of the past, and the triggers for anxiety and panic -(can't hurt anyway) Personally, I'm going to drop past resentments, anger and trust issues off the side of the boat, and (try to)leave them behind before heading home. So how 'bout it? Any extra baggage you would like me to dump for you? Better post quick, we leave tomorrow. TTU in a week or so, (and wish me luck, as traveling/being away from home can sometimes be a challenge for me)

Have a great time at the lake resort and don't get too sunburnt! Vacation is a good time for reflection and getting some relief from your anxiety and panic---you can just enjoy the sun, the water, the activities and just kick back. If you get an attack, just go and sit there by the lake and watch the gentle waves and listen to the birds singing in the trees. I was raised on the riverbank and it is always a help to me to go back to the ol' riverbank (visually) and think about
the lake and the birds and other wildlife out there. I wish I could just move to the riverbank right now and not have to worry about
trying to keep myself employed anymore; I wish I was retired. Hang in there and have a wonderful time, my prayers are with you.

Awesome insight and I think you are right on track.
Do you have room for a large trunk from me to take along and dump into that lake?

Thanks everybody! Yes I'll take it all (as long as the big trunks don't contain any actual bodies LOL!) Wishing you all well, and I'll be posting in about
a week when we return
