I grew up receiving a lot of emotional abuse from one of my parents.
Now that I am a adult I am trying very hard to move past this and get on with my life.
I have major anxiety about most everything. Example: I broke a plate at my boyfriends apartment by accident and broke down crying and shaking for fear of being screamed at by said parent even though I do not live with them anymore and have very little contact.
I always feel on edge, I really want to learn to clam down and just be me.
Any suggestions?
