mad  I'm starting a new job (hopefully if the new machine is up and running*) on the 18th (a Saturday), and someone in the hallway blabs out "hey, you have to set up "scan and band" [now this is an arduous undertaking and takes a long time and a LOT of equipment and you have to do it by yourself].  I was like, 'yeah, well, thanks for letting me know I've got this crappy part of my job ahead of me in the near future'.  How was it any of their business that I am going to have to do this mess, anyway???  I am all stressed out about it and I am just about ready to have my Pdoc exclude me from the task altogether.  They'll have to find someone else to drop that load on, I'm out of it unless I get a LOT of help getting things together.

That's my rant for now, more ahead...

Hi Camy,

Glad to see you got your vent out here where you are safe. 

Many times when a person initiates a negative message or difficult attitude, they are trying to trigger a response from you. When we react, we are actually giving them what they want. Next time try to blow off the negative comment and consider the source as they are just trying to get a reponse from you.

I do not know why some people are this way but remember you are the better person and we are here to support you.

I know for a fact that THEY wouldn't be very happy if they had gotten saddled with setting up the scanning area. I'm just praying that there will be plenty of help when I have to set it up next Saturday. Now I'm off to work---please pray for me that I will have a good day and that it will pass quickly. I did well at work tonight, except the hydroxyzene made me feel pretty tired so I had to offset it with about 4 cups of coffee (not a good mix for someone with anxiety*). I may have to stay away from the hydroxyzene altogether, but it's there to stop a panic attack in its tracks so the order of the day may be coffee. I can't work and be having a panic attack or I'll end up in the emergency room. It may also be that taking 4 x day on the clonazepam is too much, I may back off on that and just take 3 a day like I was before, see if that doesn't help. Shouldn't be any withdrawal symptoms since I just started the 4 x day regimen. I'm thinking of visiting my parents today, haven't seen them in a while and I'm asking them for money to get through the month---I need to show my face instead of making phone calls. I love them so very much and I've put them through a lot with making bad choices with my life, I feel really, really guilty about it. God knows my heart, but I still turned my back on Him when making serious decisions. It's best to pray and let God do the work, too bad it took me to age 45 to realize that. Who hoooooooo,  you made it through the night,  I am proud of you !

The drowsiness caused by Hydroxyzine  is usually transitory and may disappear in a few days. You are right in assuming that you may be able to cut back on your clonazepam.  It is worth a try.

I wish you luck with your Mom and Dad and I am sure they will be thrilled to see you today.

Tomorrow I go to the Pdoc's nurse and I am going to ask that I be exempt from setting up the scanning area.  It is a mail handler job after all, the only reason they put that duty on my job list is that they can't get the mail handlers to do it.  I am a clerk; I physically sort the mail.  I don't set up myriads of equipment for other people to use, which is what some of a mail handler's duty entails.  Pray that the Pdoc will be understanding and give me the ability to avoid setting up the scanning area and that it be delegated to the mailhandlers as it is their duty anyhow.

Looking to having a good day at work tomorrow, and thanks for standing by me and encouraging me every step of the way.  I pray for everyone and peace to all and yours,

Well, the Pdoc said he couldn't exempt me from part of my job, but he could exempt me from the whole job. So I guess I'm going to have to try setting up the scanning area on Saturday---if my job doesn't get pushed back another week because of the new machine not working right. I am very depressed and I wish there was something I could do. I have called in to work but I am still thinking about going in later on today if I feel better; sometimes I do.
