Hi D, Many things can cause sleep disturbances including anxiety, depression and medications. once you've ruled out the obvious culprits like cafffeine, eating, or exercising too close to bedtime, you can be sure it's one of those.
Try cutting all caffeine out after the a.m., eat dinner early, and have a good vigorous work-out, but not in the evening close to when you are supposed to be winding down. If this doesn't help, you may need to try a natual remedy, or ask your doctor about a sleep aid.
Not being able to sleep is miserable, and will affect yur health over time, you are young however, and a few restless nights are not going to hurt you physically, or cause you to become ill.
This is an extemely common problem with A/P ers, and I'm sure that you will get a lot of good advice which can help you.
Rest well (hopefully)
