Good Morning cln777
Big breath, hun, and know you are ok. I suspect it is partly do to your new medication and the other part is your health anxiety making it feel worse.
The medications can mess with your head as I have been on several that I could not remain on as I was actually walking into walls and felt dizzy with a headache too. Once I stopped the medication and was started on a different one the problem went away.
Do call and check in with your Dr. re your medication.
Anxiety builds in a kind of vicious cycle. Anxiety is an expression of fear, and part of what creates it is the fear of the anxiety itself. We resist the anxiety, try to run away from it, and that resistance does indeed cause it to persist. I find anxiety, like any other feeling state, comes and goes. Feelings come and go like the weather, but when we get involved in them either through resisting them or ruminating about them, they tend to be prolonged. Let go of the resistance, and the feelings can “pass through”.
Do not let anxiety win but instead believe in yourself. You are a strong and wise person that has anxiety. If you feel you need to see your physician do advocate for yourself. I am glad you come here and share your issues with us.
A problem shared is a problem halved.
I wish you peace,
Kitt
