I think even adults have days / moments / weeks when they don't feel themselves.
Remember, too, that as you hit your teen years your brain is going to start adapting to all the new hormones that are starting to flow through your body, and these can change both your thought patterns and your emotional reactions. In some ways it can be a great and exciting thing not to feel yourself, as this can mean that you really are changing and growing
. As I said, you may well find that you continue to have feelings like these well into adulthood, and it can help a lot just to observe what you're thinking and feeling and maybe even work out why.
It may well be that you're outgrowing your friends; it happens.
How many exams do you have to go, Mangos? How do you cope with exams generally? Do you find them frightening?
btw, how are you coping in this humidity? Horrible, isn't it?
Anway, Mangos, I thought I'd pop over to your forum and say hello. There are a few Australian moderators, but I'm the one who lives closest to you, and if you ever need some advice about
local things, please feel free to ask. It's easiest to find my by email or on the Crohn's forum, but feel free, too, to ask Kitt or one of the other moderators, and they'll be able to find me pretty quickly.
Sending you big getting-through-the-exams hugs,
Ivy.
