Best beta blocker for faster heartrate?

i was on atenolol until i got pregnant 5 years ago - then was put on metaprolol when i got pregnant - it stopped working after i had my son - then my doc put me on Bystolic a few years ago.  then he switched me in july to generic toprol which isn't working i don't think . he took me off bystolic cause it's so expensive but i think i should try atenolol again.  anyone had any luck with any of them for anxiety and rapid heartrate?  maybe i just don't take enough.  i'm on a low does but when i take more, my bp goes really low.

I have used Inderal for years.  Good for reducing the physical symptoms I was put on Inderal back in the late 80s due to high blood pressure and anxiety. I also have a familial hand tremor and it has really helped that though it will break through if I am really anxious or worried. 

What works for one person does not work for another but you could discuss this medication with your physician.

i don't think buspar is working for me - it works for you?

then i will read online about resting heartrate - i know between 60-100 is normal but i read on some sites where if yours is above 90 that is a precursor for heart disease. is that true? i've never been told that before . i know you can't believe everything you read though. i know i am focusing on it too and i hate it. know it's bad. i wish i could find an SSRI that works for me without making me feel so nervous, etc. have you heard of klonopin being used like buspar - everyday? my dr. doesn't think it should be but then he gave me a script for 30 of them that said take twice a day if needed. he thinks should be used sparingly though.
i am seeing a therapist too and trying to find time for mood gym. sometimes i think focusing on anxiety is worse though.

Inderal is a betablocker and I have the extended release so it covers 24 hours. Buspar works for me.  I am having very good luck with Lamictal for mood stablization with the depression.  For AD I use Effexor but would like to come off that once I have been on my max dose of Lamictal at least until after the holidays.

A normal resting heart rate ranges from 60 to 100 beats a minute. 

To the best of my knowledge Klonopin at .5 mg twice a day is a good dose for this medication. Your Doctor may increase this dose if you tolerate it but yes this is a use daily drug.  Many Doctors are not comfortable prescribing any of the benzos thus the reluctance of your physician to give you this medication.
