I agree that certain people do better not googling if they do not understand what they have read. However, we have members that see their physicians and come here for advice on whether their Drs. know what they are talking about

Gathering information from sites you can trust is not a bad thing for everyone.
The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) has a wonderful parent-friendly site.
Many of the clinics maintain their own websites.
Another site that is helpful is
http://www.healthfinder.gov/ Each person should take what they read with a grain of salt.
