I know im probably doing this wrong. I keep posting but i dont know where they go. I post when im coming out of my skin but then i dont see them and i reeeeeally need someone to talk to. Help me please. Is nebody seeing this?

Yes, your post is showing up. I'm sorry you're not feeling well. There are lots of people here who can offer support, but it does sometimes take a while to get a response. We can be more helpful if you post more details as to what you would like help with. But either way, know that this is a safe place to talk where people are willing to listen. I hope things get better for you soon.

usually about 9:30pm et several of us gather in the chronic pain chat room... we all have some of the same health issues including anxiety/panic disorders... I have PTSD along with many other health issues. Join us. Everybody's welcome. We support each other, talk about our day, aches, pains, problems, and share a joke or two. I'll be there tomorrow night with the others. We have new members joining us every week it seems.

MEDICINES
soma, lortab, elavil, prilosec, naprosyn, tenormin, tranxene, zoloft, effexor, klonopin, singulair, adderall, cytomel, albuteral sulfate inhaler, guafenisen, cortizone injections in my left shoulder, left knee, and hips several times a year

AILMENTS
rheumatic fever/ heart arrhythmia/ ulcer/ chronic pain in neck, back, abdomen, shoulders,knees/ total right knee replacement/ PTSD/ FMS/ CMP/ chronic bursitis & tendonitis/ localized arthritis/ ADD/ dyslexia/sinusitis/ ear infections/ sinus, tension, migraine headaches/ depression/ light sensitivity from concussions

ORTHOPEDIC EQUIPMENT
I wear braces on all of my joints and back.
Most of the time, I use a cane or crutches.
Other times, I use a walker, wheelchair, or scooter.

I am sorry that you haven't gotten a response! You were probably tagging onto old threads, and hidden. You now have your own, and are easily recognized:)

Welcome to the A/P board. This is a great place for information and support! I'm sorry to hear that you've not been feeling well. Panic is an absolutely miserable state to be in. Many of us have experienced that which you described...you are not alone!

If you don't mind doing so, could you please give us a little more background information about yourself? Therapy? Medications? This will give us some ideas on how to best advise you.:)

I am glad you have found us, and I hope that you plan on sticking around. (Again sorry for the long response time-I'm on vacation and have limited time to post this week)

Thank u for finding me! Info about me, here goes. Divorced mother of two wonderful n awesome grown sons. One living sister across the country. Suffered w a/p for over ten yrs. Was a prof sub abuse n domestic viol counselor/pro director 24 yrs. Unable to wk over a year. Have Addisons Disease, gout, dystonia, pernicious anemia, fibrimyalgia, no stomach or spleen, ptsd, maj. dep. recurrent, anxiety and panic d/o, hypoglycemic, insomnia, migraines, nerve damage. Over 20 past surgeries. Last 4 yrs lost health, job which was inside prison system, finances, mothers care of 3 yrs til death, no other family, going to have to move to sisters n leave sons. Meds r buspar, zoloft, iv iron, trazedone, triazolam, recently lorazepam, durogesic patches, estrogen, dexamethasone, allopurinol. Had grief n talk therapy, actually facilitated cbt. Cant bear anx n panic n cant control it. Ideations only w panic. Lost, scared, sick, virtually alone.

Its me again. just wanted 2 add while im sorry u all suffer w this thing, it comforts to me 2 read im not alone n not crazy - i hope - n i experience every sgl thing u do. surely r not alone either. the shameful thing 4 me is im a counselor - n a good one believe it or not - but I cant help myself. i know this stuff, taught it, helped others with it. but cant help me. IVE ALWAYS been superwoman n now look @ me. This cant b my life. DONT EVN RECOGNIZE IT. Always hid, denied n stuffed evrything I felt. --OH IM FINE. Thats been my downfall. As u can tell Im not fine. A counselor asked me what I would b if i could b nething. I said Emotionally Armored. Doesnt wk nemore. My walls have cracked everywhere. Cant control it or hide it. Its taken my life as I knew it. I hate being a crying, trembling, going numb, hysterical whiney-butt girl. I dont c others that way but I dont recognize myself. I pray, read books, breathe, play out what if tapes. NEVER SAY IT BUT I NEED YOU. THANK U.

We are here for you, and coming here does help! One thing that came to mind as I read your post...many of your physical conditions can present with anxiety/panic symptoms (I especially was noting the anemia)

Are you managing and treating the illness? I just wonder if some of the A/P could be relieved by doing this. Otherwise, keep practing all that you already do regarding CBT. Yes, the professionals are the hardest to treat right?!? But you've got to keep trying!

Hey guys. Id like to share some things that I have found that either compound, exacerbate or even cause higher anxiety n panic n depression. I have Addisons which is an autoimmune disorder that doesnt typically get dx til 30s to 50s. Its essentially a pituitary malfunction, adrenal insufficiency. stress hormones just flood the body unchecked to destroy other body systems incorrectly as foreign. ONE OF THE BIGGEST SYMPTOMS IS EXTREME ANXIETY and panic like 220 volts runnung thru a 110. I have congenital pernicious anemia. I treat it thru monthly iv iron infusions n inj of b12. It also does as Addisons does in that it causes EXTREME MOOD SWINGS DEPRESSION TREMORS. They used to call b12 n b vitamin deficiencies "Howling at the Moon Madness" n institutionalize ppl because they behaved psychotically. When they gave them lg doses of b12 they were fine. These r lifethreatening for me n hav2 stay on top of them. Truly have been at deaths door cuz of them. CON'T

Checking b12 ;evels important but not just for anemia....checking ferritin iron levels specifically. no caffeine. some steroids make u jittery. exercise but not rite before bed. journaling is excellent ive found but again NOT rite before bed. 20 mins of sunlite daily. warm soaks before bed. music...if ur up n need to calm down start w music that is where u r at then gradually bring it down. reverse works well for too down n need to come up. start w music where ur mood is then bring it up. limit white sugar white flour. found some meds work better when taken w carbonation. i find candles soothing and sometimes i just have to MOVE. walk in yard. believe me, I try everything. just suggestions. i just know i have other illnessess that contribute to cause or mimic my a/p. plz feel free to share nething w me. Evening to all. I wld give nething to grt into the chat rooms but im doing this from my samsung impression mobile phone and it keeps telling me i need something else to utilize n run chat. i cant seem to find out what that mite be. has anyone had the same situation and what did you need to add on or do? i get sooo frustrated n nervous sometimes i give up trying to post but a chat room would work 100 times better. anyone know how or where i can find whatever app it is so i can use chat rooms here? GREATLY appreciated!

Thanks so much 4 the support everyone! It feels safe knowing I can reach out 2 kindred spirits at any time n hope I can do the same 4 any of u. My prob is Im doing this thru my Samsung Impression SGH-A877 mobile phone. I enjoy the posting board tremendously but cannot access the chat rooms due to some thing Im missing. I am soooo frustrated nn nervous I cld throw it cuz I cant find out what I need to download 2 make that possible. Have checked with ATT carrier and iSkoot and yahoo and Addonchat. They either dont know or send me on another dead end. PLEEEEZE can someone help this dain-bramaged electronically- illiterate nervous wreck WHAT IT IS, HOW OR WHERE I CAN FIND THE WARES SO I CAN PLEASE GET N2 THE CHAT ROOM DISCUSSIONS? I really need it and feel like a cryin wimp cuz I cant figure it out. Please tell me if u found it if u needed it or know how what or where. I really want 2 get the most out of this. Please help?

Hi Blue Angel!  I am sorry that I can't answer your question about the chat room access via your phone.  I am a techie-phobe!

The thing I would do is start a new thread with a title like..'How to access chat rooms with my...'(whatever device you want to use)  This should get someone's attention who would know how to help you:)
