Does anyone feel more anxious during an increase of meds. I have been on celexa since the end of January, and just went from 10mg to 15mg about 5 days ago. I feel like I should start to be feeling better, but I am feeling more anxious latey than I did last week before the increase. So I was wondering if this just happens during increases or if the medicine just is not work?

Good Morning

To the best of my knowledge each time you increase your medication you have to give it a chance to  reach the full therapeutic dose.  Yes,  you most likely will have side effects with the dose increase. 

If your side effects become to bad do call your Dr. This drug has a pretty good reputation.

Celexa was the only med I ever reasonably tolerated but I do remember it took about 2 weeks before I saw any benefit.

Hang in there, let your Doc know if any side effects become unbearable, hopefully soon you will feel better.

Thank you for all the repiles they really helped! Toutserabon thank you it makes me feel better knowing it wasn't just me that felt the extra anxiety. I am glad the medicine worked for you! I will give it some more time its just hard to be patient sometimes.
