Hi B.B., sorry that you are going through it at the moment. I know how miserable having multiple attacks is. It certainly wears you down, and makes you vulnerable to more. So first off, try to make sure that you are taking care of yourself with as much good sleep, nutrition, exercise, and enjoyable recreation as possible.
There is a good video in our Anxiety Resources Guide on getting through p/a's, as well as some great breathing/relaxation exercises to check out. The links are in the post at the top of our main page. Even if you've done these types of exercises before, it never hurts to have fresh/new ones in your arsenal.
Other suggestions are to distract yourself with something like music, reading, talking to a loved one. Personally these were hit or miss for me, as often I would just want to curl up in a ball!
I would use my mantras to reassure myself that this was just fear, not impending doom! I would repeat over and over that I had gone through it before, and that I was safe, just in a panic. This was most effective for me because it took the fear of the 'unknown' out of it, and reminded me that this was familiar territory, and I could just let it pass. (and it did...eventually for good)
I hope that you start to feel better soon, and that the p/a's fade out. Post back and let us know how you are doing soon:)
