Hi everyone thought I would share an idea my therapist gave me.....I suffer from health anxiety so I over focus on my health....she told me to put an elastic band on my wrist and every time I have a negative thought about
my health or I start to focus on my body too much I have to twang my elastic band.....
Well I had my doubts...but I tell you I've been twanging away at this elastic band for 3 days now....and ouch I got bruises on my wrist but I'm not focussing so much on every other twitch and twinge I'm having.....my wrist is too sore...
...so it's working....of course people keep looking at me like I'm a looney twanging away on my elastic band but hey it's helping me so I don't care what people think....thought I'd share this with you all it might help others.....best wishes to everyone hope your all well....shannon
