This is my first time posting in here and I know that there are some similar posts regarding head tingling and anxiety. I recently (4 weeks ago) had my first panic attack. It wasn't bad like most are that I read about, I just had the heart buzzing, tingling sensations in my chest and left arm and got really scared. I was told to go on medication (Celexa) but I had a very adverse reaction to it so I decided instead of taking medication I would start changing things in my life...sleep better, eat better, start yoga and meditation, walk at least 30 minutes a day, and will be starting an anxiety workshop next week, etc. All was going pretty well (I was still having some on and off chest pains and arm numbness) until a few days days ago I started getting a strange sensation in my head that matched the "Tingly" feeling of when I started taking the Celexa. I thought it would be short lived but it's lasted 3 days now. It feels hot sometimes, cold sometimes but its always there. It's not necessarily a pain, more of a discomfort. Sometimes it feels like I can feel a liquid type feeling inside of my head and around my ear. It's only on the right hand side and originally started right above my right eyebrow and has now moved back to the right backside of my head with the goose bump tightening sensation on my scalp, like how you would feel if you had some strands of hair pulled. Is this similar to other anxiety head sensations? My doctor said she thought it was a migraine (though I didn't have many symptoms of a migraine-no light/sound sensitivity, nausea, etc.) and gave me a shot yesterday and a nasal spray to try, but both of those things didn't really seem to do too much. I'm really hoping that this is just a body side effect to the anxiety, if not then I'm worried...
