I understand how you are feeling.:( Some of my worst days anxiety-wise have seemingly come out of nowhere. Those are the most confusing and frustrating times, because we so want to be able to point to the source of our problems, otherwise it feels like shadow boxing! It also makes the whole disorder that much more unpredictalbe and frightening.
I think that is why daily coping mechanisms are important. The reason is two-fold...one, it helps to bring down daily accumualtive stress, and two, it allows you to be in practice with the techniques, so that you are skilled at your breathing and relaxation exercises when anxiety hits and you need them! Practicing for 10 minutes a couple of times a day should help.:)
Try not to worry about why this is happening at the moment...I have done this and it only adds more anxiety! Accept that it is just something that you are experiencing for a time, but use your skills to manage it, and hopefully push it away.
Peter's (Admin's) latest blog post on Mindfulness is awesome BTW...you should check it out..I found it really helpuful!
I hope that you feel better soon, and keep posting.
