Hi all I'm new here just joined today.
I used to get the odd panic attack every 6 months or so but out of the blue randomly, i didn't feel i had an anxiety problems and it didn't bother me to much and after i had one i would just get on with things as normal again.
Recently I started doing shift work at my work place rather than the normal 9-5 mon-fri. I lasted about a month and half on shift before coming off it due to having panic attacks every week. I did feel like this was due to my irregular sleeping pattern and sleep deprivation and also irregular eating. The fact I always felt tired seems to make them frequent.
I have just come on back to doing normal hours. I wondered if anyone else has had this problem before? It's really affect my life. I've gone to the doctors and just had blood tests and an ecg and due to go back in a week.
It's just really got to me because when i was doing normal hours before going onto shift i was doing really good, going to the gym, regular exercise, eating well and now its all gone downhill, I still constantly feel drained and feel like i cant exercise and now every day have quite bad anxiety. If anyone encountered the same issue how long did it take after getting regular sleep again for your body to adjust as its been about 5 days and i still feel the same and this worrys me that Ive now gone back to normal hours and its going to be the same still and not better like it was before i went on shift.
