warm sensation in neck

i was sitting at work today and i feel this hot/warm sensation in the side of my neck whcih of course made me anxious all day it would happen again  ha  what is this?  it happened again a few weeks ago.  feels weird.  i did have ultrasound on my neck today and physical therapy but still.  felt ike someone was pouring warm liquid inside my neck.  my friend at work says it is nerves.  hmmmm
