long time zoloft user - severe fatigue

I take 100mg zoloft and then 75mg welbutrin x2/day (just to counteract the side effects of the zoloft) but I suffer from SEVERE fatigue... I could sleep all day. But the meds work for me as far as treating the depression... so idk :( any ideas?

If you've been on Zoloft a long time and you're just now starting to feel fatigued all the time, I would get a check up. I have anemia which was found by a blood test. Anemia was making me exhausted! Also, I have sleep apnea which can make me tired. Anyhow, you need to make sure it's the Zoloft causing your problem. Please talk to your doctor about how you feel and see what he/she says.

Hello and welcome to HealingWell. You stated you are taking the Zoloft for depression. One of the sx that your depression may be getting worse would be the extreme fatigue - just wanting to sleep the day away. I am just healing from a 3 month bad spell with depression and I wanted to sleep the day away as it made the pain of feeling so sad go away.

You also may want to read our forum on Chronic Fatigue and see if you have any sx that may be connected to that disorder ?

I agree, getting a good medical screening exam including some lab work sounds like a good idea.

Good to meet you. I agree with the others about getting things checked by your doctor you may need your medication looked at. I hope things improve for you soon let us know how you get on.
