I think SC meant that if you are really frightened by the intrusive thoughts you are having you should remember you can always see a Dr. or reach out for help from the medical profession on the week-end by making use of an Urgent Care or Emergency Department.
I have had intrusive thoughts at different times in my life, however mine have been different from yours. I have learned that the thoughts usually occur the most when I am stressed, depressed, or have some inward anger. For me the thoughts are connected to anxiety and stress for the most part. Knowing this helps me talk my way through them.
Intrusive thoughts are a common symptom of OCD. Please do talk with your therapist to learn how to deal with these thoughts when they happen.
Kindly,
Kitt
