I do not have a lot of background knowledge re Lymes but I have read that a broad range of mental health disorders have been associated with Lyme disease,
including panic attacks,
major depression, and obsessive-compulsive disorder.
Positive self-talk when you are feeling anxious counteracts the common tendency to do the opposite: to berate one's self with a barrage of negative statements. This is one I use a lot and it may be helpful for you.
When I am feeling anxious or panicky, I will focus all my energy on the "here and now".
