Has anybody tried Viibryd for anxiety and panic? I just started taking it. Tried Lexapro with few results. I also take lorazepam for immediate results.

I hope that it is more helpful to you than Lexapro. They are in the same drug class (SSRI) but each individual medication will have its own effect on an individual, and I hope that this is a good fit for you.

I am sorry that I can't personally inform you one way or the other regarding this...hopefully a member who has experience with this med will post soon.

Remember that it can take up to six weeks for the drug to build and level in your system...until then, you may have some fluctuations in how you are feeling...but with patience hopefully you will see some positive results.:)

Viibryd is pretty new to the market and is supposed to work faster then the current AD meds but there is not a lot of info out on that yet.  I would call your pharmacist and ask them for info re this new drug.  Viibryd is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) and a 5-HT1A receptor partial agonist.  I believe it hit the market the last  half of 2011.
