Saw the doctor, well her physician assistant. Not sure about him. When I mentioned LPR he gave me a huh look, then explained it was silent reflux. Oh ok. Seemed to listen to me somewhat and was helpful though. Sitting here now waiting for labs.

On the med front looks like its Zoloft this time round, mainly because insurance wasn't covering lexapro. He seemed to liked lexapro. Starting off with 25mg once a day. Think I'll start tonight this time instead of mornings like the lex. Hoping I don't have the same reaction as last time where the anxiety spiked for a week or two.

Also got a card for the therapy which I'll call later today. Had to actually ask for the therapy referral this time.

Forgot to ask for a new prescription for the lorazepam, almost out, have to do that before I leave.

That is suprising to hear that a PA was unfamiliar with LPR! Well, as long as you felt like he was helpful for the other things that you needed addressed, then it was a good consult.

I hope that the new RX transition goes really smoothly for you...it is frustrating to have to change your meds and routine b/c of insurance! My husband had to change his whole blood sugar test kit and strips for his diabetes for this reason.:( Oh well, it is good to be covered for at least something right?

I am glad that you asked for that referral, well done, you! I hope that you can make an appointment and get going with that asap. I had such success with it, and I bet you will too.:)

K have my first therapy session in the morning? Anyone let me know what to expect? Do you meet once a week?

Wow, that was really fast...great job!!  Some people have to wait weeks to get an appointment, that is really super that you can get started right away.:)

I got in due to a cancellation which is good because second appointment had to be made for aug. they put you on a waiting list so if there is one I can get in close to two weeks as possiable.

Session was ok, like you said mainly history and going over what will happen next time. Little homework and told to continue what I'm doing. Walking, breathing and meditation.

Besides that started the Zoloft this morning, having anxiety all day so far. Maybe the fear of what the Zoloft may do or it is already doing it :)
