Hi PH and welcome!
I am really sorry to hear about your recent anxiety attack (an anxiety or panic attack are the same thing, just different terminology) It is very frightening and can indeed be triggered by stress, fear or anger...or a combination of negative feelings.
Many people will have an isolated attack, and then no more ever again. Let's hope that you are one of those individuals! For some however, it is the start of repeated attacks that must be treated.
Like I said, hopefully you are a 'one and done' type person...but that doesn't mean that you couldn't still benefit from stress reduction steps! We have some great links in our Resource Guide (main page, 2nd post) that teach breathing and relaxation exercises. These are great for anyone to practice since we all have stress in our lives!
