Find a hobby. When your mind is idle, it is free to worry. Instead of sitting
and dwelling on whatever is making you anxious, find something that you enjoy
doing to serve as a distraction. If you don't have a hobby already, start
looking for one. Whether you start knitting, constructing model cars, or
restoring old furniture, you give your mind something to focus on besides the
fear. As a bonus, having a hobby that you enjoy can reduce your stress levels
all around.
