Brittanylac,
Thanks for sharing your story. I too face anxiety and panic attacks all the time. I was put on medication a month ago to calm my body from those awful anxiety symptoms. But when it comes to medicine, its not the medication that will take away the anxiety, it's the thinking that one does that will help the most. Something I find helpful is to smile for no reason, and do this alot, and to try and force a smile when an attack happens. Also practicing positive self talk may help as well. On a daily basis when I wake up and go to bed at night I repeat 3 times "I am happy, I am health, I am confident". Of course I do this as well when I feel like I am about to panic.
Driving is also one of my fears, though my involves driving on the highway or places far from home. Which honestly I only drive when I have to. What helps me while driving is playing music, even if I have to turn it up loud, because it's a distraction. Distractions is a good thing to have when feeling anxious and having anxiety. When you are distracted it's hard to think of what we are worrying about. Thinking positive is a distraction for me, but when that doesn't work I find something to keep me busy and to keep my mind from worrying. It does get easier. My advise is to consciously take control of your thoughts and feelings. You can control this but you must practice and consciously talk positive to yourself :)
Hope that helps! You can do this, and everything will be okay :D
