We are on our way back from a great camping trip! It was a really good, if grungy, time;)

The first night was a little rough...had some really weird dreams, mild tent claustrophobia and a skunk wandering around our camp...yikes!

But all in all a great time. Sorry to be MIA...no reception up in them thar hills

I will be on later after dropping our daughter's friend back home, unpacking and a SHOWER!!!

Thanks guys! We did have lots of fun...but I am only good for about 3 days of the great outdoors...and then home to a shower and my own bed.

Last night I was doing dishes in the sink with hot water and lots of suds and I thought 'This is sooo great!' Funny how juggling dishes and utensils under a cold water spigot while squatting in the woods and fighting off mosquites can give you some perspective! ;p

Glad you had a great camping trip and that the skunk just passed by rather than nest behind your tent that would of been interesting lol.

Good to here you have made it back safely and had a fun time away I have had many a cold night camping up in the Highlands of Scotland were you are trapped in your tent due to the horrible little midges that plauge the west coast of Scotland in the summer.

Yes, we had gorgeous weather...warm and perfect for hiking, but it does bring out the critters...they enjoy the climate as well, Lol :)

I know that you are way more hard-core than I in the great outdoors department, but I am still proud of my remedial camping skills, hee hee;p

No worries SC. I have not done as much recently although today I have started to think about a ski holiday this coming season as I have mist that last couple of years due to back issues.

Have you seen the film The Critters?
