Okay well I think the cipralex that I'm on is actually working or at least starting to work and I've had some side effects from it so far and managed to live with them so far.

I'm wondering how many others have tried this medication and have to ask did you also have a side effect where as your insides just would not shut up and continued to growl and move about constantly?

It is driving me nuts and I have no idea how to calm my insides down so they are less active.

i am on cipralex too i dont have this side effect

Hi

I am on the same medication and have found it has worked well for me. I did have side effects and still have some but the majority of them passed after a couple of weeks. If the side effects continue I would go and speak with your GP.

I'm due for a sigmoidoscopy this Wednesday to make sure my insides are actually okay, it's quite possible that my insides moving around so much are due to anxiety and possibly the cipralex has made it slightly worse.

I do expect side effects and have had quite a few and can only imagine this is either another side effect (wouldn't surprise me) or I may possibly have I.B.S albeit I'm not so sure that I have?

I mean it's not like I'm going to the toilet all the time but my insides are usually making loads of noises and don't seem to shut up lol. I'm ignoring it as best I can and had already spoken to my doctor about my insides when he put me on cipralex in the first place hence why I'm having a sigmoidoscopy.

I'm only on a two month course of cipralex and on day thirteen of them already which is why I'm thinking it could just be a side effect, I know they affect the gastrointestinal areas which is why I asked if anybody else had this same side effect.

I was on it and it made my anxiety worse. Then my Dr added Wellbutrin. I hated both. Way to many side affects. Clenched jaw, head aches, brain zaps all the time, ended up having a panic attack, had suicidal thoughts and always got a rush of thoughts and was like a zombie. couldnt tell dreams from reality.

I was on it for 13 months, I'm going off it now cause its not worth the side affects to me.
