You are going to be okay. Everyone has something that is not perfect in their body. Everyone is susceptible, or has a predisposition for something.
The truth is, none of us can be sure that we aren't going to have a cario event, or other health issue today, tomorrow or the next.
A lot of us with anxiety have control issues...we feel extrememly out of control, so we seek to find it any way that we can. This shows up in regards to our health quite often.
Try giving up the control...sounds crazy and impossible, but it may be the only thing that helps you not to worry about this constantly. You have done everything that you can in regards to getting this checked out...you have done the responsible thing, now put it in the hands of your higher power, and the doctors.
When your mind tries to panic about it, tell yourself:
'I choose to not carry this burden that I have no control over.'
You may find it amazingly freeing. You will also have moments when you completely struggle with this...but if you keep practicing, it will get better.
I have had to do this with a lot of things in my life, and it actually does work.
I hope that you can find some peace and calm in what the nurse told you, it sounds like positive news.
Take care,
S.C.
