I am on Buspar 10mg twice daily. This is the start of my 3rd week. I have had a headache almost constant since I started taking it.. Anyone else dealt with this? Does it eventually go away? Ugh.... It is annoying.. In my eyes.. Migraine like!!

Yes! I have been taking Buspar for a while, and it does cause me to have a headache which is generally worse in the morning. The medicine works well, but that is a terrible side effect that doesn't seem to go away. I will take an ibuprofen if it gets bad and that seems to help a bit. Wish that I could help more, but I'm going through the same thing and it has yet to disappear.

I don't have experience with this, but wanted to wish you well. I have had headaches that have lasted for a week at a time and it is miserable...no relief!
Have you asked your doctor if this is an expected side effect? He/she may want to check your BP and heart rate just to be on the safe side. Ask how long this could go on as well...s/e from meds should start to improve after the initial introduction time, (all meds are different in their times) but some may just not be tolerated by the individual ever.
Also in case this is an unrelated issue...have you made sure that you don't have the million other reasons for a headache? (lol!) The obvious ones are eyestrain, neck and shoulder tension, dehydration and low blood sugar...
I hope that you get the answers that you need soon and can start to feel headache free!
Keep posting:)

Sorry to hear you are experiencing headaches. I have been on Busparfor quite a while now and headaches may have been a problem in the beginning but I do not have any problem with headaches now.
Good luck,

I have not had any headaches from Buspar and I am on 30 mg 2x/day. Mention it to your Dr., maybe he can help.
