Hello and welcome to HealingWell. One of the things I have learned is to set aside time during the day to do my worrying. Don't do your worrying in bed. When my mind tries to drift into the worries of the day. I repeat to myself,
" My bed is for rest, not for worrying".There is nothing I can do at night to fix my problems so making sure I get a good nights sleep is doing something to help me stay healthy.
Aim to let go of the thoughts and not bring them to bed with you.
If the jitteriness is a new symptom for you perhaps a visit with your PCP is called for. Good luck and keep on talking with us. We are here to help.
