I think that it is entirely possible that it is associative anxiety. Also anxiety at this age and stage of life...with all of the changes and new responsibilities, ect. is very common. We have had so many first year college members dealing with anxiety issues for the fist time.
However, it is crucial to rule out any physical issues and a neurologist will be able to do this. If she has not had an MRI, EEG and other tests to check brain function and structure, the doctor may order these, as well as testing other cognitive functions, and in this way determine what you are dealing with.:)
One other thing I would suggest, is to have the psychiatrist and the neurologist confer and compare notes, so that both doctors are getting the 'full picture' and hopefully be able to better come to a dx for your daughter.
Let us know how it goes if you can.:)
