Hi to everyone.

It's been a long time since I was here. I gave my wife up to the Lord since my last time in. She passed away from lupus complications December 18th, 2009.

I finally got my password and username relocated so thought I would just pop in for a second.

The latest medically on me, I'm still on the lorazepam, half mg. taken twice daily, but it doesn't begin to cover me when I have to have surgery like I did back on Dec. 13th! I had shaking rigors the night before the surgery, the morning before the surgery and for two days afterward at times. I'm guessing shaking and rigors are panic. That's a relatively new symptom from my usual ones.

First of all, I am so sorry to hear of your wife's passing. This holiday is surely hard for you, and I send thoughts of comfort and prayers your way.

I am glad that you have been able to recover your password, and join us again.

I completely understand how scared you were before and after your surgery. I would be shaking as well. I think that this is a fairly normal reaction...especially for those who already have anxiety to begin with!

I hope that you will continue to post with us. We are here to listen and support!

Hello SC! It's good to be back. Thanks so much about my Barb's passing. I can't believe I've been without her for three long years. I lived my life through that sweety, and especially the holidays.

Yes, I made Don Knotts appear as a man of steel with my rigors and shaking. It was unreal.

I will definitely be checking in and posting at times. There is a young lady who may be joining us I met on Christian Mingle dating site. I gave her the link for this site. She is a precious young lady and can use all the support we can offer.
