Hello and
welcome to HealingWell. Glad you've
found our online community. It’s a great place to connect with others traveling
the same road...you'll find much support, encouragement and advice from others
who understand.
I am glad you have decided you need to seek out the help of the medical community. Many things can cause fatigue and dizziness besides anxiety. Last year (2012) the day after Christmas I realized that I was beyond fatigue and for months could not do much other than lay on the couch feeling bad as I had so much I wanted to do but no energy.
I did see my psychiatrist who felt my antidepressant was not working and that I was depressed so she switched out meds which made me worse. I also saw my PCP and we check a B12 level which indicated I was on the low side of normal so we increased how much B12 I take each day.............yet the fatigue continued even after we changed my antidepressant to one that worked well in the past.
In August, at my year physical, I was put through tons of tests and found out I had a very large colon cancer = fatigue. My advice to all is to make sure you look for physical problems that may be caused by a medical problem. Everything is not anxiety.
In your case I do hope your medical screening exam is all normal and your Dr. has great ideas to help you overcome your fatigue and anxiety.
I am here for you so keep on talking with us.
