Arachnoid Cyst

Hello all,
I went yesterday for my MRI due to complaints of a head fullness on the left side, one time numbness left side of body & dizziness...results came back as Arachnoid Cyst. I'm a mess. I feel as if I was given a death sentence. :-( I've looked online & they are not super common but people have them. I've read they are often undiagnosed because asymptomatic in a lot of cases. Usually they are found looking for something else (such as my case). Others stories say most are left untreated and monitored for but doctors don't always believe symptoms. Other cases require surgery. Seizures can be a typical symptom depending on size & location of cyst. My anxiety is in full gear. Needing some help!!! <3 Thank You!

I am sorry to read of your test results.  We may be two peas in a pod as I had a test today that came back very abnormal and now we try to figure out what is happening - some of the issues are scary so I am running in the high anxiety range too.

The tears have been flowing since I got the news about 4:00 PM so I am here online to try to help others and keep my worries off myself.  Nothing can be done about my issue right now.
