Hey Meg,Big hugs from lil ole Kitt. I have been following you on FB and sweetie you are beautiful just as you always have been; on the outside and the inside. You have had some bad breaks in the past but remember each day brings us new opportunities to change our thinking, our lifestyle and to remember that each of us is a unique person.
It is ok to be lost but let us help you find your way back to what will work for you. I have one bad disc but most of the time that is tolerable but 3 is a lot and I can understand why it put the jinx on your running.
May I ask if your still working at the same job ? You worked so hard for your education and you made it to your goals so look at this as a new time in your life and believe that you will be able to pull strength from deep down inside and taking one step at a time you will beat your ED.
I know you know this but just as a reminder, effective treatment of ED addresses the underlying emotional and mental health issues going on currently in your life and any past issues that you have not been able to let go of or resolve. Are you seeing a therapist for you, Meg ? CBT is still the treatment of choice for most eating disorders but it does take an extreme amount of hard work.
Can you start with a therapist and see what he/she may suggest? Also, is your Mum around or planning a visit anytime soon ?
Oh, Meg, I could talk to you forever but my granddaughter is on her way over so I must cut this short for now but please stick with us and let us help you.
Love and hugs my friend,
Kitt
