Dear Moderator, and Everyone,
Thanks for the post above about "firing Dr. Google." I really needed to read that and really need to follow your excellent, wise advice. I ALWAYS go to Dr. Google and ALWAYS see how my symptoms can be matched up to all kinds of horrible things listed on Google. I need to stop going there, stop the researching, and today I am going to follow that RULE. I have generalized anxiety, depression, and also OCD... a nice triple combo. Ugh. They all work well together to keep me in a constant state of worry over health problems (my worst), career and family issues. I am absolutely a hypochondriac but being cognizant of that fact doesn't do much to help me as I still worry. Every day I have a new health panic... always scary... and I always am afraid that it is going to be serious. Lately it has become my yawning. I have always kind of been a yawner and never really worried about that. I do have odd sleeping hours... sometimes I am up till 5AM and sleep in till Noon, so maybe that is contributing to the yawning? Anyone know? But I started reading up on the yawning and found some anxiety sites that listed yawning as a possible symptom of generalized anxiety, but THEN I also read that yawning can be a symptom of several horrible diseases and started to panic a little. I am not on any meds like our friend above in this post, so there are no meds to attribute this to. I guess I'd like to say thanks to everyone here for their support of each other, and also would like to hear from any of you reading... if your anxiety causes excessive yawning or "noticing your breathing" like mine does... or at least I hope it's only my anxiety causing it. :( Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.
