ok guys....this is our last travel for the kids for the year.  It is a huge one.  Eight days in Orlando.  My daughter leaves with her team tomorrow morning, my husband and I at 4:30 and my son is leaving with his music program on Tuesday.  After the TN trip was a disaster anxiety/panic wise with a trip to the ER and many panic attacks....I ask for all your support during this trip.  I will turn here, to this board for support..I am so scared that I will be anxious and nervous and not want to leave my room the whole week....please guys help me get through this week.

I for one will be sending encouraging thoughts your way. You know that others will as well. (Larry was concerned about you since you hadn't posted in a few days!)

You have been in this place before...and though you were fearful, you made it through.

You are healthy and able to face this challenge. Anxiety can't win against your strength!

Use your tools, and post as often as you need to...we will be here.:)

You little stinker you had me worried!

You will receive daily Prayers from me while your on your trip,
just don't pre program yourself for problems, allow yourself to enjoy
this trip and the experience with your Family.

Gizzy, God has allowed you this great adventure,

Thanks guys

My heart monitor came back normal and so did my abdomen sonogram. Still waiting for cholesterol blood test results.

I am trying to be positive. I don't want to feel like I did last trip.

I will be on here looking for love!!

did not sleep great but not horrible. have a dull right eye headache but have not eaten since yesterday breakfast. going to eat. nervous to leave the room but nervous to stay. keep repeating to myself its ok it is ok. Out of all my trips for my daughters cheerleading this was always my favorite, so upset I am putting a damper on it.

Gizzy, just think about how much your Daughter and Husband are going to be thrilled because you
are fighting this monster for them, I know how bad you want to do this for your family,
maybe a little pain and discomfort but you are a "WINNER".
Look at it this way Kid, you already know that none of the things you may feel are going to
hurt you in any way. "This thing you fight is an intruder in your Family, Life, Love,and everything
that means happiness to you and your family, if it knocked on the door and tried to break in
you would fight it with your last breath to keep it away from your Family".
Gizzy win this for you and everyone else you Love gets Momma back"!
I will be praying every time I think of you, you are not alone, a Legion of Angles are with You!

not sleeping great but not horrible either. woke up nervous today but today at 8:44pm my daughter competes. Walked around Epcot yesterday for a little and sat through a good steak dinner. Baby steps...just feel like a freak out is around the corner. Really want to be ok.

Dear Gizzy
You have so much strength and integrity inside, I know sometimes its hard to feel that way
but you have already accomplished so much more than you thought you would. Yes we call them
baby steps, but we did it, we took some and we are not a bit worse off and really those steps will
be Giant steps one day. That nervousness is just us expecting something to screw up our plans
take a different thought pattern, You are a woman of Spirit and Word, I know you understand me.
Take a favorite one and every time the worry warts show up start repeating it.
Their is Strength and Power in those Words they are more than a special phrase.
Remember the sum
of those Words are Power and Glory. Meanwhile we will Pray for You and Family!

Hey Gizmo, we have had no conversation. My name is Cathy. I am so very proud of you. People just dont know how panic feels. However, our monster can also be put away when we need to do it. I suggest you wrap it up in a towel and put it in the drawer with the gidieon bible. It will be there. Your kids are so proud of you. They are the most important thing in the world. How blessed you are to have them. Forget the panic, its in the drawer. Again, I am so very proud of you. Have fun.....hugs Cathy

Hey Gizmo, how you doin? Havnt heard since yesterday. I am gona take that as great news. You have so many people here who care for you and your battle with that old monster panic. Sometimes he can lodge himself in there and act so cocky, wanting to rule your life. NO WAY JOSE, YOU ARE STRONG! Your strength helps me and I thank you for it.

My daughter competed last night and I freaked out. I said for her routine and ran outside. Was nervous all last night could not sleep. She competed at 9:10 this morning again in the finals. I did not want to go. My husband had a tough job getting me there. I am waiting for awards now.

Why is anxiety/panic like this. Why am I like this

Gizzy, Your still doing better than even you thought you could, time to reaffirm your accomplishments.
Always give yourself a mental pat on the back, acknowledgement of your ability to go and do
things that are not always comfortable are instrumental to forward and on going progress.
Your Spirit of no defeat and the Prayers of others can be a cain to help you continue forward.
Many of us are with You, its just a feeling, push through the silent wall of fear into the Light

hi guys and my old friend Larry,

after some crying and trying to talk to my husband, who tries and tries, just does not get panic, I did go see my daughter in her last compeition. They placed 9th in the World in Small Medium Co-Ed Division. The last 24 hours have been a wave of anxiety. I am hoping that now that I am back in my room I can start to come down. I really love you guys for helping me through. My son comes tomorrow and marches in the Disney parade Thursday. I do not come home till Friday. I would like to go home now...so please hang in there. Helps knowing you all understand.

the whole universe! Gizzy, you have my constant Prayer, its a healing Prayer for You and Family.
What I will say You already know, this condition does not just effect You, it attacks everyone You Love.
You would fight a Grizzly Bear if something attacked your Family! Time to take this thief and robber
by the throat and don't turn loose until its choked down.

Hi gizmo. You are strong and I know it! Just try to keep your mind on the subject at hand and do some deep breathing to calm your mind:) it helps me as well as many others. Anxiety doesn't control your life. Think positively and stay proud that you are fighting through anxiety! And we will all be here for you:)

Tuesday. We are at Universal. Trying not to let my daughter see my anxiety. Feel like I am focusing on my breathing to much. Anyone else have this sometimes?

You are doing great...keep up the good work.

If your breathing continues to be a problem, keep doing your breathing exercises. Count along with your breaths to keep you focused, and not let it get to fast or shallow. Deep slow breaths is the goal.

You have been fine so far, and you will continue to be okay. Hang in there, you are almost home free!

Congratulations to your daughter...and I hope that your son has a great performance/parade, and that you can enjoy every minute of watching him.

Remember you are a huge part of why your kids are so active, talented and successful!!! No woman who wasn't a strong, empowered person could make this happen.;)

Well it's Friday, when you recount everything whether plesant or not "I hope it was" you got to give
your self a pat on the back, you are stronger, it may not always be as plesant as we like but we can do

I am home!!!!!

My kids are home!!!!

Felt like a long 8 days! I know I should be proud I did it but just can not believe it is so hard. Every day was a battle inside but Ibdid get to see my kids perform.

Will write more tomorrow!

Thank you all for the support each and everyday. Could not have done it without you.

Things like this will not always be so difficult. You are making progress and it will get easier as you go along.:)
