Here lately, for probably the past 6 days, I have been having quite a few skipped beats in my heart rhythm. I try not to worry myself over them, because I know that will make it worse. I did go to the ER the other night because I was having a lot of them and they were making me paranoid. They did an EKG on me, which came back normal, then hooked me up to a heart monitor for 3 hours. I didn't have any of then skipped beats while I was there, go figure, so they didn't see anything irregular. They even did blood work and that came back normal too. The dr just told me that it could be from anxiety or whatever, but I should probably mention it to my regular dr and see if he will get me a holter monitor to wear for 24 hours. I am glad they didn't find anything serious, but I hate that I don't really have an answer. I didn't really have any issues with it yesterday except a few skipped beats right before I went to sleep, but today I have had a lot of them. But I have also been kind of stressed today, and had a lot going on. It seems that I only get them when I am trying to sit and rest. Idk, I can't get into my family dr for a few weeks, and I am just trying to reassure myself that it is only stress causing it, and I just need to ignore it. I don't get any weird dizziness or anything with it, and that's what my dr told me to watch out for. It just kind of takes my breath for a second, then goes away. Does anyone else have any experience with these? I used to get them a few years ago, but it was because I had too much caffeine, which I did away with a long time ago. I don't drink alcohol, don't smoke, cut back on sugar, and I exercise daily. I really don't know what else to do.
