Hi SMJ,
I too am sorry to hear of all that you are going through. Relationship and health problems rank high up there as far as stressors go.
It sounds like you need kind of a two-pronged attack here. You need to first follow up with the specialist about
the mass that was found..was this through an MRI or cat/pet scan? Was the specialist that you were referred to a neurologist? Most likely you will find that it is something benign, but you will have peace of mind following through with this examination/diagnoses!
You will also want to start to think about
anxiety treatment. Most of your symptoms sound like they are anxiety related. Even if you are not having a full-blown attack...you can have isolated or a few symptoms on any given day.
I no longer have attacks, but I still get transient symptoms at times of high stress, or if I am not doing a good job of using my coping skills regularly.
You can ask your doctor for a therapy referral, which I recommend for everyone...and you may also want to inquire about
medicine if you and your doctor decide that it is a good choice for you.
For now, you can check out our Resources on our main page here. Joshua gave you some great advice in his response, and mentione some of the benefits found there.:)
Keep posting with us as well. We are here to listen, support and care! Let us know how you are doing soon.
