One of the most powerful things to do first is to accept your anxiety. It is the anxiety that is causing you to fear for your life and to be afraid of a heart attack. If you have been checked out by a doctor, then truly the anxiety is the cause of what is happening in your mind. I had been to the hospital a few times for health anxiety, the first time I went in thinking a heart attack was imminent. Everything checked out and I started learning about
cognitive behavioral therapy or CBT. If you've been more time on Google researching your anxiety symptoms than researching a good method for overcoming it, I encourage you now to go to Google and look up cognitive behavioral therapy and find everything you can about
it. Buy books on anxiety & CBT, there are plenty of self-help guided workbooks that you can do at your pace to take back your positivity.
The quote above I picked it out of your note because it rang a bell with me. There are things in our past that we can't control, that we just have to let go. There are skeletons in everyone's closet, but why does that have to have any impact on how you feel today? Let the guilt go, give yourself a break. Who you are at this moment can be whoever you want to be.
Look into the CBT.
