SHOULD I GO BACK TO LEXAPRO FOR OCD PLEASE HELP!!!

Hello I don't know what to do to stop my anxiety and OCD intrusive thoughts. I have been 3 months dealing with this. I made my appointment with a therapist , but i am wondering if I should take lexapro.I think I might go back to lexapro to it . IT is the only pill I am able to tolerate. It doesn't take the OCD away but it makes the anxiety very low. To a point where I can control it and forget about the intrusive thoughts. It worked for one year and at some point I felt almost free of OCD. It was the only pill I took that gave me no other side effect, I stopped taking it after I had panic attacks for like 2 weeks straight. I was taking 10 mg. Maybe since my anxiety increased I needed more of the pill. Should I go back ? Is either that or valium but I feel lexapro could help me , I also took it when i had some IBS problems when I was 17, and it gave me my life back so I think I might go back to it :/. If anyone else has OCD and anxiety please give me your thoughts thank you!
