They're working on the only highway that connects my rural road to surrounding towns! Oh no!
It's at the point where the pavement is different heights in each lane and there are those orange hazard cones sitting between the lanes to keep you from hitting the ridges and wrecking.
Me, driving between hazard cones - Holy Blackout, Batman! That's a hardcore panic attack!
In our area, because of weather, etc., it usually takes about 18 months for them to finish resurfacing a highway.
I'm considering becoming a hermit. I can probably live off of the fish and wildlife on our land, our chicken eggs and our big garden. Yep, that's the ticket. lol
