#1 - you do not look stupid on here. You look like you have anxiety, and I think you're in good company. haha
The dizziness is probably just your panic, you're going to be okay.
Do you know any breathing exercises or do you meditate? If so, I think you should get all dressed for bed, sit in the bed and try to do either your breathing exercises or meditation. Really try to focus on them. Sometimes, I recite old stuff I had to memorize in high school like the prologue to the Canterbury Tales or The Raven. If you can focus on your breathing or meditation, I bet you'll be drifting off to sleep in no time.
