Leg pain ~ upset and scared

We all want to not worry anymore, friend. If anyone figures it out, I'm confident they'll let us in on the secret! Larry has some good advice he doles out about worrying about death ~ hopefully, he'll be along soon to share it.

I can sympathize with the blood clot worries. I used to have trouble with my legs swelling real bad. I would get so frustrated when they just gave me fluid pills because I was convinced that it was blood clots! lol

I bet the muscle aches are mostly anxiety. They're no fun, but as they say "it is what it is" :)

I'd check in with your doctor about the blood clot worry if you can. I think you're fine, but maybe consulting with the doctor will set your mind at ease. Is there a nurse at your regular care provider that you can just call to see if you can come in? I did that just today and it really put my mind at ease.

Sorry to hear that you're going through so much stress and that you're dealing with PCOS. It's no fun, for sure.

Well I guess I have about worn out some of the things I say to everyone on here but I still believe them to
be true. One thing is be not afraid seems simple enough to say but with people like us thats a whole
library full of words that hit us at the same time and its nothing but confusion. What if it is just that simple,
everything about panic/anxiety is based in fear, it seems to permeate every cell in our being sometimes
when we have been afraid for a long time our body's even smell of fear. Its absolutely horrible. Maybe we
need to take another look at this thing, can we touch it? no, can we see it? no again, well whats it made of? Its a figment of our subconscious imagination. the only power it has is what we give it, if we find a way to make it evaporate its gone! "Fear only has the power we allow", not one thing more. Now when we are dealing with something that is inevitable/inescapable its just silly to think of it more than a few times when it catches us off guard and we need mechanisms to quickly put this to bed before it ruins our day.
God ordaines that man/woman be borne only once, and once to die the rest of the fear of death is up to
us, in short we need something else to think about. Hence the distractions and mechanisms we learn to use in various types of therapy are our reality, we need to become experts in distraction and living! After
spending days upon end in terror I finally made up my mind i'm going to die someday but I sure as hell
don't have to do it every day and I'm not going to, "once" thats one time too darn many for anyone and
it's not going to get anymore playing time than that! Yes it took more than one try to get my mind wrapped
around this idea but it got easier as it went along, every pain, hurt, fear is not going to kill us, we can
start today to destroy the fear of death. Oh it will try from time to time and catch us off guard but just
don't allow it to exist in our realm of consciousness. Once you deal with an anxiety attack from the vantage point of knowing its not going to kill you it looses much of its sting, and over time it has nothing
to use against us! "Come join me in life, after all we are going to live Forever". Peace

Try to remember all of your past worries, and the fact that none of the things that you feared actually came to be a reality.:)

Our anxious minds like to get fixated on the 'worry of the week', but the fact that we are worried about something only speaks to the fact that we are anxious...not to the fact that it is going to happen.

Everyone has certain risks that they have to deal with. My husband has type 1 diabetes, and is therfore at a higher risk for heart, vision, circulation and other issues. He takes care of himself however, and sees his doctor regularly. He can expect to live a long and happy life because he is aware of his issues.

It is the same for you. You are aware and proactive in treating your PCOS...therefore, you can expect that you will be absolutely fine with the good care that you receive.:)
