My hubby is taking me on a mini vacation leaving this afternoon and returning on Saturday......................I will have my iPad so I will be reading but any brilliant comments will be short.

I am so glad that you are going to have some time to relax, get away and be with your hubby!!

I hope that you can leave behind all the worries/cares that you are dealing with...and just be free to have fun, giggle, cuddle and be silly.;p

You may be having so much fun, that checking in here with us doesn't happen...and if that is the case...we will of course miss you, but we'll also be glad to know that you are having a wonderful trip!!

Hello to all,
Just returned home today and we had a great time. Two days and nights on Lake Pepin in a beautiful condo doing nothing but watching the sailboats on the lake and eating in the Lakeside Restaurant.

Taking walks on the sidewalk that runs along side the lake as the fish were jumping in the water. Such showoffs those Big Mouth Bass are............ [img]/community/emoticons/smhair.gif[/img] Watching the paddlewheel boat taking visitors on a cruise on the lake and the private boats pulling skiers. Wishing we still had our boat but remembering the wonderful times we had with the children when we took them on the sandbars.

Our puppy ( 6 year old puppy) was excited to see us when we picked him up.

Looking forward to the next mini vacation but first comes chemo on Tuesday.

Kitt I was in Branard during 59 was somewhere close to Canadian border, it was almost sunset, I heard something like firewood being thrown into the water, It was Northern Pike, then the Misscotos found us and we got out of there fast.

I am so glad that you had a great time...thinking of good memories, and creating some new ones!

Keep us posted as to how you are feeling...we are with you all the way, and will help get you through to Tues...

Thinking about you as Tuesday approaches, but don't let Tuesday interrupt today if you can keep from it.

When Tuesday does arrive, start thinking about that next beautiful trip with hubby. Will you take special tea or coffee with you? Maybe a game like Scrabble or chess? :)
