Life's a Beach

I will talk to you all tomorrow...

My husband is busy tonight, so I am headed 'over the hill' (mountain range that leads to the coast)  to take my youngest daughter to the ocean and boardwalk.

Planning on playing in the last few hours of sunlight at the beach...late afternoon sun = no sunscreen (yeah!) and then getting dinner, and going to ride a few thrill rides at the amusement park.

Hey, maybe I'll even win one of those hideous stuffed animals that only ends up costing you approx $50 to win!  Not!!!

SC the girls where I come from have one leg shorter than the other from running on the hill sides. lol

We had a great time!! It was really crowded, and quite a lot of Summer traffic going and coming back...even at almost 11pm!

But we did have a blast...late afternoon at the beach, nice dinner, and rides and games at the Boardwalk...I even won my little one one of those cheap prizes, Lol;p

Sorry I was MIA yesterday...my afternoon was somewhat highjacked...hubby invited friends over without asking/telling me, until they were practically on their way!

We had fun...but it was certainly, er, impromptu!

Anyway, full weekend, and now I am catching up.;p

That he did! Actually I think he just knows not to ask me last minute...we have had that conversation a lot! He is like a little kid, asking for a 'on the fly' sleep over or something! Sheesh! The point is, we had fun though, so I didn't mind too much...this time.;p
